Welcome to another Game 0…wait a minute, this isn’t Game 0n. Where are we? Well, you are in the presents of a new article here at Dark Haven Chronicles. It’s called “The Tale of the Tape”. This is where I, or any other writer, take two games that are some what close and compare the two. Then after that, I (we) give our take on each and say which one we like better. I see a whole lot of discussion with this column, but that’s a good thing. So, let’s get to the Tale of the Tape!

Game 0n Reviews: Legend Of Zelda- Ocarina Of Time
Posted: January 21, 2012 by Rock Roberts in ReviewsIt’s been a while since a game review has been posted on Game0n.net. But the wait has been worth it. This review is all about some Zelda, well, really Link. As one can tell from the title, the review is about the first installment of the franchise on the Nintendo 64, The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (or Zelda: OoT for short).
So, this is a new layout, new site, and now, a new blog! So, join me as we make this our new home at Game0n.net.
Now, as many know already, there is a new system that is suppose to be coming out sometime this year, or early next. Nintendo is trying to get the jump on both Sony and Microsoft with their new system, the Wii U. Now, there are all kinds of rumors out there floating around about what it’ll look like, what the specs are, what it can run, and over all, how powerfully it is. But with this blog, I’m pretty much going to talk about one main thing, the controller…or tablet.

In a few weeks, I will be putting out a new column called “Tale of the Tape”. It will size up two simllar games and I will give my choice on which one should be named the better of the two. This TotT is going to be between The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Obivion. I’m really looking foward to re-typing this (I had it once on another site, but it’s been lost since then). I should have this up by the end of Jan, start of Feb. Just be on the look out.

So, tis the season, or it was anyways. Now that the “New Year’s” partying is over and done with, it’s time to get back to the grind of the work week and getting back to what is “normal”. But these last few months wasn’t just the “Holiday Season”, but it was also the “Gaming Season” as well.

Shadow Man

I’m taking it back old school a bit and talking about Shadow Man. I don’t know how many people out there played this game when it first came out for the N64 and DreamCast. Now, I only played it for the N64, and I had to give it few years rest inbetween playings in order to beat it. Not that it was a bad game, it was just a bit…what’s the word I’m looking for, “confusing”?

This week, I will be talking about BackBone/Sega’s Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection
Now, this game is a great game for anyone that had a Sega Mega Drive/Genesis back in the day. I had one and I loved it. I can remember countless hours playing the great games on there…ABACABB (Who gets what that code goes too?) Now, this collection has 40 titles in it, but not all of them are as great as some might “remember” them to be. I won’t go in full detail about each title here but I will list them here.

So, if you haven’t heard yet, Nintendo is taking $80 off the 3DS. So, it’s about $170 now. Am I the only one that thinks that’s still too much for a handheld system? Or am I just the only one that is on a tight budget during this hard times? Anyways, let’s move on, shall we?
